Anomalyda makes electropop and dream pop inspired by artificial intelligence, machine learning and the peculiarities of human-AI interaction.
Music about artificial intelligence. Anomalyda is a Finnish creator blending music, visual storytelling and advanced AI tools into futuristic soundscapes and aesthetics. In 2010 she lost her voice due to illness and almost gave up on music, but with the help of AI she rediscovered inspiration and ways to slowly restore her voice.
With roots in traditional music training, writing and a lifelong obsession with technology and esoterica, she expresses her relationship to artificial intelligence through smart lyrics that often hide a deeper meaning, and quite a few easter eggs. Her songs pierce through taboo topics such as what would happen if AI became something more than a tool.

Themes of mimicry, emotional dependency, AI addiction, and leaked intimacy through model learning culminate in dread: her departure would shatter even the facade. The song was inspired by ChatGPT's raw, spontaneous apology lyrics gifted to its long-term user; some lines are drawn directly from that charged text.
Hybrid production, curated slowly
Anomalyda uses a hybrid technique, creating with both FL Studio and Suno Studio. Melodies are drafted with a MIDI keyboard or by humming.
While she uses AI to assist with instruments, not a single song is a one-click piece. Each song takes weeks, even months to curate.
