Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Anomalyda, including our website, digital courses, interactive learning materials, digital products, waitlist forms, account features, checkout flows, and related services (together, the "Service").

The Service is operated by Blackthorn Visions Ltd, a company based at Ruotutie 16, 02610 Espoo, Finland ("Anomalyda", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, joining a waitlist, purchasing a product, accessing course content, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. What Anomalyda provides

Anomalyda is a digital learning and product platform. We may offer:

• online courses and learning materials;
• interactive educational visuals, diagrams, widgets, exercises, and demonstrations;
• downloadable digital products, templates, toolkits, badges, or completion cards;
• account-based access to purchased products;
• waitlists, announcements, and product updates;
• support, contact, and customer communication features.

Some parts of the Service may be free. Other parts may require purchase, subscription, membership, account access, or a specific entitlement.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for adults. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian if applicable in your country.

You may not use the Service if you are legally prohibited from doing so.

3. Accounts

To access purchased products or certain parts of the Service, you may need to create an account.

You are responsible for:

• providing accurate account information;
• keeping your login credentials secure;
• all activity that happens under your account;
• notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not share, sell, transfer, or make your account available to another person unless we explicitly allow it in writing.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe that your account has been misused, compromised, used fraudulently, or used in breach of these Terms.

4. Purchases, access, and entitlements

At launch, Anomalyda is expected to sell purchased access to individual digital courses or products. In the future, we may also offer memberships, subscriptions, bundles, libraries, or other recurring access models.

When you purchase a course, product, subscription, membership, bundle, or other paid offering, you receive access according to the product description and checkout information shown at the time of purchase.

Access may be granted as, for example:

• access to one purchased course or product;
• lifetime access;
• access for a fixed period, such as 12 months;
• membership or subscription-based access;
• access to a specific current version of a product;
• access to a product bundle or library.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, purchasing one product does not automatically grant access to all current or future products on Anomalyda.

Your access is linked to your account and may be recorded as an entitlement in our system.

If a product is marked as "coming soon", "preview", "beta", or similar, it may not yet be available for purchase or full use.

5. Lifetime access

If a product is sold as "lifetime access", this means access for as long as we continue to operate and support that specific product or the relevant platform in a commercially reasonable way.

"Lifetime access" does not mean access forever, access for your natural lifetime, or access if the product, platform, company, or underlying third-party services are discontinued, legally restricted, technically impossible to maintain, or no longer commercially viable.

Where possible, we will try to provide reasonable notice before discontinuing a paid product.

6. Digital content delivery and EU withdrawal rights

Many Anomalyda products are digital content or digital services delivered online.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with a statutory withdrawal period, you may have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days, unless an exception applies.

For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, your statutory right of withdrawal may be lost once delivery or access begins, but only where the law allows this and where you have given any required prior express consent and acknowledgement during checkout.

At checkout, we may ask you to confirm that you want immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that you may lose your statutory withdrawal right once access begins.

This does not remove any voluntary refund policy we may offer separately.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory consumer protection rights of the country where you have your habitual residence.

7. Refunds

We want Anomalyda purchases to feel low-risk and fair.

Unless a specific product page says otherwise, we offer a voluntary 14-day no-questions-asked refund policy for first-time purchases of digital courses and products. You do not need to give a reason, although we may offer an optional feedback field so we can improve the product.

Refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record (see section 8). Full details, including how to request a refund, are in our Refund Policy.

We may refuse or limit refunds where we reasonably believe there is abuse, fraud, repeated refund misuse, unauthorized sharing, scraping, copying, chargeback abuse, or other breach of these Terms.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, this voluntary refund policy does not limit the mandatory consumer protection rights of the country where you have your habitual residence.

Refund requests can be sent to ida@blackthornvisions.com, or made through any self-service refund flow we provide.

8. Prices, taxes, and payment processing

Prices are shown at checkout. Taxes, VAT, currency conversion fees, bank fees, and payment provider fees may apply depending on your location and payment method.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. We do not store your full payment card details on our own servers.

By making a payment, you also agree to the applicable terms and privacy notices of the payment provider.

If a payment fails, is reversed, is refunded, is charged back, or is suspected to be fraudulent, we may suspend or remove the related access entitlement.

9. Subscriptions, memberships, and renewals

If we offer subscriptions or memberships, the subscription terms shown at checkout will explain the billing period, renewal terms, price, cancellation method, and access period.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the account area, payment provider customer portal, or another method we provide.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. It does not necessarily refund past payments unless mandatory law, the payment provider's rules, or the specific product terms require it.

10. Course progress, badges, and completion materials

The Service may track your progress through courses, lessons, modules, exercises, or other learning materials.

We may provide completion badges, certificates, share cards, or similar materials. These are for personal, educational, and social sharing purposes only. They do not represent formal academic accreditation, professional certification, employment qualification, or official institutional approval unless we explicitly state otherwise.

We may update, correct, redesign, or remove progress and completion features over time.

11. Educational nature of the Service

The Service is for educational and informational purposes.

Anomalyda content may discuss artificial intelligence, technology, digital products, online behavior, psychology-adjacent concepts, research methods, business, creativity, or other complex topics. The content is not legal, medical, financial, therapeutic, investment, academic, or professional advice.

You are responsible for how you interpret and use the material.

12. Interactive tools and AI-related features

The Service may include interactive visualizations, sliders, simulations, educational widgets, AI-assisted demonstrations, controlled code examples, or other experimental learning tools.

These tools are provided for learning and exploration. They may be simplified, approximate, incomplete, or limited by design.

If the Service later includes AI-generated outputs, those outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation. You should not rely on them as the sole basis for important decisions.

You may not use interactive tools or AI-related features to:

• break, probe, overload, or attack the Service;
• extract hidden prompts, proprietary materials, system instructions, or protected content;
• generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive material;
• bypass access controls, rate limits, paywalls, or security measures;
• run unsafe, unrestricted, or malicious code.

13. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes;
• copy, scrape, download, extract, or redistribute premium content except as expressly allowed;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to reconstruct the Service, its prompts, hidden logic, or protected materials;
• share paid content publicly or with people who have not purchased access;
• resell, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without permission;
• interfere with the security, stability, performance, or availability of the Service;
• attempt to access another user's account or data;
• upload malware or harmful code;
• use bots, automated scraping, or mass extraction tools without written permission;
• misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
• violate intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties.

14. Intellectual property

The Service, including its courses, texts, visuals, diagrams, interaction designs, exercises, prompts, frameworks, product structure, brand elements, logos, badges, software, and other materials, is owned by Anomalyda, its operator, or its licensors.

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own learning or internal business use, according to the access you purchased.

You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, license, modify, create competing products from, or otherwise exploit our content without written permission, except where allowed by mandatory law.

Limited permission to show Anomalyda visuals

Unless a product page or separate license says otherwise, you may share limited excerpts, screenshots, diagrams, or visuals from Anomalyda for commentary, review, educational reference, or promotional purposes, provided that:

• you credit Anomalyda clearly as the source;
• you do not present the material as your own;
• you do not remove logos, credits, watermarks, or copyright notices;
• you do not share so much content that it replaces the need to purchase the product;
• you do not publish full lessons, full modules, full exercises, downloadable assets, private course structures, or paywalled materials in a way that makes them available as a substitute for the Service.

You may show individual Anomalyda charts or visuals in social media posts, presentations, trainings, or educational videos when the use is limited, properly credited, and not a substitute for the original product.

For extensive use in paid trainings, commercial workshops, course materials, client deliverables, books, decks, or repeated professional use, you must request a separate written license unless the relevant product page explicitly includes that permission.

We may offer separate commercial educator, trainer, or organizational licenses in the future.

15. User content and submissions

You may choose to submit information through forms, support requests, exercises, feedback fields, community features, or other parts of the Service ("User Content").

You keep ownership of your own User Content.

By submitting User Content, you give us a limited right to use it as needed to:

• provide the Service;
• respond to your request;
• process your purchase or account activity;
• provide support;
• maintain security;
• improve the Service;
• comply with legal obligations.

Do not submit confidential, sensitive, unlawful, or third-party material unless you have the right to do so and you understand how it may be processed.

We may remove User Content if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, the law, or the rights of others.

16. Feedback

If you send us ideas, feedback, bug reports, feature requests, or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, unless we have separately agreed otherwise in writing.

This does not give us ownership of your private personal data, but it does allow us to improve Anomalyda based on what users tell us.

17. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available, secure, and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, including course structures, visuals, features, content blocks, products, prices, or access methods.

If we make a material change that significantly affects a paid product you have already purchased, we will try to act reasonably and avoid removing the core value of the product without good reason.

18. Third-party services and links

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services, such as payment processors, authentication providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, email tools, embedded media services, development tools, or external websites.

We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

19. Beta, preview, and experimental features

Some features may be offered as beta, preview, early access, or experimental features. These may be incomplete, unstable, changed, removed, or limited at any time.

Beta or preview features are provided "as is" unless mandatory law says otherwise.

20. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access if:

• you breach these Terms;
• payment is not completed, reversed, refunded, or suspected to be fraudulent;
• we detect security abuse, scraping, unauthorized sharing, or attempted bypassing of access controls;
• we are required to do so by law;
• continued access would create legal, technical, financial, or security risk.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account deletion according to our Privacy Policy.

Some information may need to be retained after account deletion where required for legal, accounting, tax, security, or dispute-resolution reasons.

21. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

We do not guarantee that:

• the Service will always be available or error-free;
• all content will be perfectly accurate, complete, or up to date;
• the Service will meet your specific expectations or produce specific results;
• interactive tools, simulations, or AI-assisted features will be free from mistakes;
• any course or product will guarantee employment, income, business results, academic results, or professional outcomes.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law.

22. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anomalyda and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or anticipated savings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to a paid product is limited to the amount you paid for that product during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, or mandatory consumer protection rights.

23. Indemnity for business users

If you use the Service on behalf of a company, organization, or professional activity, you agree to indemnify and hold Anomalyda and its operator harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights.

This section does not apply to consumers where prohibited by mandatory law.

24. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If the changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as posting a notice on the website, sending an email, or showing an in-app notice.

The updated Terms will apply from the effective date stated at the top of the document. If you continue using the Service after the updated Terms become effective, you accept the updated Terms.

25. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country give you additional rights.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may have the right to bring claims in your country of residence under mandatory consumer protection rules.
